So proud of my client, Sharon Diotte, for all of the publicity she’s had over the past year. Sharon’s been interviewed several times about her memoir, Te’ora, a story of healing and self-transformation. I was fortunate enough to help edit her story. It’s incredible to see how others are impacted by her journey. (The picture to the left is when Sharon and I did a walkthrough at Crazy Wisdom to prepare for her first book reading!)
One of my favorite interviews so far has been from Pebble Galaxy because of the thoughtful questions Sharon got to answer. The writer, Jaideep Khanduja, beautifully described the intimacy of memoirs born of survival: “You feel it in the way pain is neither sensationalized nor neatly resolved, but held with care, like a fragile truth finally allowed daylight.”
This September, Sharon was asked to participate in the 2026 Crones Summit led by Alison Palmer. This annual Crones Summit is for women who wish to “age irreverently” and Alison Palmer is a passionate advocate for embracing the wise crone within.
Sharon’s topic for the Summit was “The Long Journey from Silence to Voice,” something she shares wisdom about often in her memoir. Even though it took some time for Sharon to find her voice and learn how to use it, she’s stepping into her power now – breaking her silence and encouraging others to honor their stories.

If you’d like to support Sharon, consider checking out her memoir at your local library or buying a copy. Read her blog, or follow her on social media:
