In the fall of 2019, I worked on such a fun article for Crazy Wisdom Weekly! I explored the “hidden gems” of Washtenaw County, those amazing green spaces that not everyone may know about.
It was hard to narrow down the list, honestly. Washtenaw County has 29 nature preserves and the City of Ann Arbor has over 163 parks! I hope you read this and explore your own area, wherever you are. There are sure to be some places nearby that can give you a moment of peace like these preserves did for me.
