“Women of the Kahn Family: A Quiet Dignity”

This summer, I’ve been working with my colleague, Carol Rose Kahn, granddaughter of Albert and Ernestine Kahn, to create a presentation about the accomplished women of her family for the Albert Kahn Legacy Foundation. Our presentation is set for September 13th at 7pm at the Hawk in Detroit and I can’t wait!

Carol’s grandfather, Albert, was a successful architect with a humble background who created a name for himself. Him and his family have been recognized for their achievements in many ways, but we would like to shine a light on the successful women of the family who may not have had as much (or any) recognition.

Researching these women and organizing this presentation with Carol has been a highlight of my career. Bringing important stories to light about dignified women who never wanted any credit themselves is something I very much felt compelled to work on.

If you’d like to learn more about the event or how you can purchase tickets, please go to the Albert Kahn Legacy Foundation website.
